Comments:

I think it’s important to know how I look at my top 100 rankings as opposed to my positional rankings. This was a long process trying to nail out who I thought I might draft in my top 100. Several players are actually ranked very differently than I have them in their positional rankings sheet. I struggled with Mark Reynolds, Carlos Pena, and Ben Zobrist more than any others. It seems that I find myself often wanting to grab them ahead of several players that I think may have a better statistical season. In Reynolds case I view him as a huge potential for bust, thus I ranked lower in prior rankings than I did in this top 100 where I felt like his value was higher…coming to terms with myself about exactly how I project a person is difficult in these cases and clearly leaves me feeling like I should re-evaluate my position. Similarly guys like Pena and Zobrist find themselves in very different positions in my top 100 vs. my positional rankings posted earlier this off season. Those two players tend to also be guys that will fluctuate wildly on other owners draft boards as well; Pena being a guy who often slides later and Zobrist likely to be a guy that owners will reach for. Good luck to everyone this season and if you have more questions about particular players on this, shy I have them listed in front of or behind anyone else, feel free to head over to the Barracuda Sports Forums and start a discussion.
