IDP Comments

Listen up people…even in any IDP league, there are plenty of serviceable IDP players that can be picked off waivers each week. This means that in any league in which you play with IDP you should be waiting until late in your draft to fill in your defensive starters. Go after your offensive players first, give your team the offensive depth it will need for the entire season, then pick the middle tier IDPers and play the waiver wire heavy for the first few weeks and through the season for more IDP bargains. It’s OK to grab the top couple of guys at each position a little early (mid rounds), but imperative that you do not sacrifice offense in order to grab ANY defensive player. Don’t even try to grab any highly rated LB, the price and draft pick spent will far outweigh any benefit they may bring to your fantasy team. In addition, don't let defensive players take up too much room on your bench; draft just enough to fill your starters and let the waiver wire do the rest after the draft.
